Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo are reportedly considering starring together in an upcoming drama. Gong Yoo is currently reviewing an offer to play the lead role in a project penned by renowned scriptwriter No Hee Kyung, while Song Hye Kyo is already in talks to join the cast.
A representative from Gong Yoo's agency, Management SOOP, confirmed the news, stating, "It is true that Gong Yoo has received an offer for No Hee Kyung’s new project. He is currently reviewing it."
The drama, written by Noh Hee Kyung, is described as a modern historical piece centered around the broadcasting industry. It aims to portray the realistic struggles and experiences of individuals amidst the turbulent history of South Korea’s entertainment industry.
Noh Hee Kyung, known for her works like "It’s Okay, That’s Love" and "That Winter, The Wind Blows," has previously collaborated with Song Hye Kyo in dramas such as "Worlds Within" and "That Winter, The Wind Blows." Meanwhile, director Lee Yoon Jung, acclaimed for her works like "Coffee Prince" and "Cheese in the Trap," will be at the helm of this project.
