This Chelsea side has been utterly destructive. Thrashed Juve and almost defeated United (the draw came as a surprise, of course, but was the courtesy of so many missed chances). There's still something Tuchel has to work on, though.
Chelsea have failed to get an established striker who scores on a regular basis and the majority of their goals have come from defenders, something that is peculiar to only Chelsea in the Premier League.
Signing Lukaku was supposed to solve the problem and after a dream start, the striker has failed to score regularly, with injury taking the better of him on a plenty of occassions. Werner and Pulisic haven't been able to net the ball often either.
Would Chelsea consider bringing a new striker in January? Haaland is reportedly set to leave Dortmund in the January transfer window and a Chelsea with Haaland would easily obliterate any team in the world. However, the high price tag may stir Chelsea away. So, will Chelsea look for new stars or is Thomas Tuchel looking to work on the existing squad? We'll get the answers in January, perhaps.
