Hugo Lloris (7.5/10): Made a couple of good textbook saves to keep France in the game and ultimately win the game. Could do nothing about the penalty
Theo Hernandez (6/10) : Torrid time against Bukayo Saka. Gave away a penalty but had his blushes saved. Managed to defend well going into the closing stages of the game
Dayot Upamecano (7/10): Carried out his defensive responsibility very well. Didn't give the England striker the time of day
Raphael Varane (7/10): Limited England to shots outside of the box. Marshalled his defence well all through the game.
Joules Kounde (6.5/10): Pinned back for most of the game because of England's dominance. Managed well against England's threat on the wing.
Auriel Tchouameni (7/10): Great finish to put France ahead in the early stages of the game. Gave away a penalty, but otherwise brilliant display
Adrien Rabiot(6.5/10): Lively display in the middle of the park. Made it difficult for England to penetrate through central areas.
Antoine Griezmann (7.5/10): Showed once again why he is France's most important player with 2 assists to win the game for France. His passing and link-up play pivotal for France all through the game.
Ousmane Dembele (6.5/10): Largely ineffective through the majority of the game except for some moments of brilliance with tricks and flicks.
Kylian Mbappe (6.5/10): Gave Kyle Walker a good run for his money but couldn't ultimately affect the game how he would have loved to
Olivier Giroud(7/10): Largely a passenger for most of the game, having the least touches amongst outfield players but ultimately turned up when called upon with a fantastic-headed finish.
