A post with a picture of Cristiano Ronaldo that appeared to have angered some Twitter users was removed by the FIFA World Cup's official account.
On Sunday of last week, the FIFA World Cup 2022 came to a stunning conclusion as Argentina won their third championship by defeating France. Lionel Messi won his first World Cup as Argentina upset the 2018 champions 4-2 (3-3) in a thrilling battle that went to penalties. With the win, Messi also brought Argentina's total of significant international accolades to four, having already won the Copa America (South American continental competition) championship in 2021.
However, Portugal's illustrious striker Cristiano Ronaldo's tournament came to an end as his team suffered a shocking loss to Morocco in the quarterfinals. In the 42nd minute of the match, Youssef El-Nesyri scored the game's sole goal. Ronaldo, who started the knockout match on the bench, entered the game early in the second half but had no impact.
Assuming that Ronaldo may have played in his final World Cup at age 37, several supporters felt offended by a particular tweet from the FIFA World Cup account and accused it of mocking the legendary footballer. "Thumbs up if you really appreciated the #FIFAWorldCup," said the caption of the image, which featured Ronaldo in a training jersey for Portugal.
Fifa world cup account is handled by a messi fan i guess but officially trolling A legendary player is really wrong.
what do you think about this ? Let me know in the notes..
Thankyou⚽
