Exciting New K-Dramas Set to Captivate Audiences in April 2024

As spring arrives, so does a fresh lineup of captivating K-dramas to indulge in!

First up is "Love Is Like a Cat" ("사랑은 고양이처럼"), a Korean-Thai collaboration BL drama starring Mew Suppasit Jongcheveevat and JM, airing on Viki starting April 1. It follows global superstar Piuno working at a pet daycare alongside director Daebyeol to salvage his reputation.

Next, on April 5, Netflix releases "Parasyte: The Grey" ("기생수: 더 그레이"), a series based on Hitoshi Iwaaki's renowned manga. The show delves into the invasion of parasitic life-forms from space and their quest for dominance over humans.

"Lovely Runner" ("선재 업고 튀어"), premiering on tvN and Viki on April 8, is a time-slip romance drama adapted from a popular web novel. It follows Im Sol, a devoted fan who travels back in time to save her favorite star Ryu Sun Jae.

On April 9, KBS Joy’s YouTube presents "Reunion Counseling" ("매일 재회해 드립니다"), a rom-com about Choi Do Wan launching an app for rekindling past relationships, starring Lee Jung Joon and Choi Hyo Zu.

April 10 sees the debut of "Blood Free" on Disney+, a suspense thriller featuring Han Hyo Joo and Joo Ji Hoon as they navigate a series of incidents linked to genetic engineering.

"Gray Shelter" ("회색기류"), dropping all episodes simultaneously on April 11, is a BL drama about Cha Soo Hyuk reconnecting with his old friend Lee Yoon Dae.

"Missing Crown Prince" ("세자가 사라졌다"), airing on MBN and Viki starting April 13, is a romantic comedy set in the Joseon era, revolving around a kidnapped crown prince and his captor.

"Boys Be Brave!" ("고백을 못하고"), adapted from a popular webtoon, debuts on April 25 on Viki, offering a BL rom-com storyline.

"Goodbye Earth" ("종말의 바보"), available on Netflix from April 26, explores the lives of four individuals during the final 200 days before an asteroid collision.

Lastly, "Under The Gun" ("언더 더 건"), a noir romance drama, releases all episodes simultaneously on Viki on April 29.
