My success lies in perseverance and I have never compromised in my practice and I think that is the key to be successful in any particular sports. In my experience practice, rest and required amount of nutrition is the key to perfection during performance. Much like MS Dhoni, I am a heavy believer of drinking milk as an energy booster and I prefer green vegetable with staple rice and avoid fast food. One of the very advantages of being involved with regular running according to me is that our body stays fit and diseases keep apart and the best time for running is always in the early morning. One day before any particular competition, according to my experience till today I would highly prefer drinking lots and lots of water preferably in the morning followed by a 40 to 45 minutes run in the evening finally followed by ample amount of rest and dinner should be light in order to avoid indigestion.
I am associated with an athletic academy now that I am based out of Gwahati and I always had an aspiration to groom some good athletes. But, what is sad in today's generation is that the rural youths can’t sustain long-term coaching and urban youths are reluctant to do hard work.
