He recalls his most haunting experience. He was called for a tracheostomy surgery for a patient in ICU, shahidOrl was baffled to encounter a case who had remained unattended post surgery. There were flies buzzing around her bed and maggots were creeping out of her wounds.

Dr Shahid was extremely terrified of encountering her, but recalls this was due to the high number of patients and cases flowing in the hospital with limited health care workers available.

Despite doing so much for the society and risking his own life, Dr Shahid had to conceal his identity as a doctor in his own apartment because social media was going rounds targeting the doctors for being the source of spreading the corona.

While Dr Shahid was going through emotional and mental level stress during his covid duties, he was determined to provide his selfless services putting his life at high risk.
