Derby delight keeps Arsenal in the hunt
A prolific first half performance in the North London derby meant that Arsenal stayed in the hunt for the Premier League title.
On the balance of play it was probably an even first half but Arsenal were ruthless, scoring 3 in the first 38 minutes. Pierre Emile Hojbjerg turned it into his own net to give the Gunners the lead. Bukayo Saka then converted a clinical counter attacker before Kai Havertz rose the highest to head in a corner.
Spurs tried to mount a 2nd half comeback with goals from Cristian Romero and Son Heung Min but Mikel Arteta's men hung on. They are still top in the title race but Manchester City who are a point behind, have a game in hand.
