Decent show if you've ran out of other good shows to watch. It feels a lot like the blacklist, which for the most part I liked a little more although it got worse in later seasons, homeland stayed relatively the same quality give or take throughout imo with some seasons a little better than others. My biggest problem with it is first I'm not a huge fan of Claire Danes but her character Carrie is wholly unlikable, she's extremely self entitled and burns people all throughout the show. She reminds me of Elizabeth Keen on the blacklist, couldn't stand her half the time too. The very last episode I hated her even more until the very end which was a cool little twist and a good way to end the show where she sort of redeems herself and makes you see her differently than the rest of the episode which I'm sure was intentional and it worked well.. The last minute is actually one of the best ways I've seen a long running show end to be honest. As for a nitpick, It felt weird seeing Damion Lewis's character as a traitor being that he's inextricably tied to one of the most honorable and patriotic American heroes ever put on film when he played Dick Winters in band of brothers. Great actor though and did a good job on homeland but I'll always associate him with a band of brothers, he'll always be the film version of Dick Winters to me not Nicholas Brody. One last thing I have to give the writers HUGE credit for is not turning it into a way to push their personal politics like on Designated Survivor which turned into a wokeathon in the last couple seasons, it was unbearable, you can tell they went out of their way on homeland to keep real world political sides out of the show and I really appreciate that
