Ingredients;
- 8 ounces of pasta (linguine, spaghetti, or any of your choice)
- 2 tablespoons chili oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1 Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.
2 In a large skillet, heat the chili oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
3 Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
4 Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the cream sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly.
5 Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it's melted and well combined with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, you can add some of the reserved pasta cooking water to thin it out.
