Celebration policing is weird and unnecessary
There was controversy over the weekend as many - most prominently Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville on Sky Sports called out Arsenal for 'over-celebrating their win' against Liverpool.
The instances of over celebration pointed out were manager Mikel Arteta going on a wild sprint and celebrating with the fans and captain Martin Odegaard becoming the photographer for Arsenal's club photographer who is a life long Gunners fan.
This is the sort of criticism that we see being levied quite often nowadays especially in the PL.
The argument that you need to win a trophy to celebrate is stupid. Key wins, late equalisers etc all call for crazy celebration as they provide that adrenaline rush. To trivialise moments of happiness only because that is not the final goal is a sad way of living life.
As long as it doesn't disrespect others, celebrate however you like.
