Can't believe how many people give this show 5 stars. To be fair it's not a terrible show, it's fairly entertaining if you've run out of better shows to watch but it's cheesy as f at times and extremely unrealistic. Some unrealistic things are fine, it's a sci fi premise after all, but when tension gives way to convenience every time multiple times an episode it becomes tiresome and starts to lose me. Problems are sorted out way too quickly and easily on this show. I can't even count how many times someone had a sudden realization moment in just the first few episodes. It reminds me of the disaster shows from the late 90s. The leaders in the show are always super dumb and careless and the underlings are always solving all their f ups. I'm starting to lose faith in these reviews btw. It seems everyone loves everything they watch these days. It's almost as if most people here have never seen a series that's actually worthy of 5 stars. This should be an average of ~3 at most. If you want something that has similar tension high points, still takes a lot of liberties through convenience but is actually well written, watch the blacklist. I was really hoping this show would be a little more based in reality but it's silly enough to be entertaining for a while I guess.
