Blow for Bayern: Julian Nagelsmann Signed Contract With German National Team Till 2026!

The German Football Association (DFB) have announced that Julian Nagelsmann will continue as Germany's coach until 2026, ending rumors of him joining Bayern Munich.

Nagelsmann initially took over as interim coach in October due to poor results under Hansi Flick. Thr manager was tasked with stabilizing the team before the European Championships. Recent wins against France and the Netherlands have further boosted thr German's profile and hence the DFB offered Nagelsmann a new contract, keeping him employed till the FIFA World Cup 2026.

The DFB's decision to extend his contract reflects their confidence in him and his team. This extension will certainly be a big blow for Bayern Munich, who viewed Nagelsmann as a top candidate after Thomas Tuchel's departure. The Bavarians will now consider other options for their next manager with De Zerbi and Zidane reportedly in their shortlist as per reports.
