Bergvall opens up on choosing Spurs over Barca

Swedish 17 year old midfielder Lucas Bergvall was the subject of interest from a lot of big clubs over the last couple of months. In the end, it came down to Barcelona and Tottenham, with the player eventually choosing Spurs somewhat surprisingly.

He has since the move explained his reasoning for the choice. “They are both incredible clubs. It was a very difficult choice, it was 50-50."

“It felt like the next step for me was Tottenham. It was not very easy to say no to Barça — it took a very long time to decide", he said.
