Barcelona Interested in Signing Marco Verratti from Qatar Side Al Arabi!

Al-Arabi reportedly paid €45 million for Verratti's transfer, ending his long tenure with PSG. While FC Barcelona had shown interest in him before, PSG never sold him to another European club. According to SPORT magazine, Barcelona are now eyeing Verratti after his year in Qatar. The potential transfer hinges on Al-Arabi's asking price for the player.

Verratti, 31, is under contract until 2025, with a market value of €25 million according to Transfermarkt. It remains to be seen if Al-Arabi will aim to recover their investment and if Barcelona can afford the fee while addressing other team needs.
