Apple is expected to debut a mixed reality virtual reality headset in 2022-2023, according to reports. As per rumors, this headset will be as powerful as their laptops. This headset has far-reaching implications for communication in the future, as well as how we connect with one another and how we view the physical of the world. Users will be able to observe computer generated visuals that appear to be placed in the physical environment using mixed reality headsets - and in the future, maybe even glasses or contact lenses.
Just 20 years ago, smart phones like the ones we all have now were considered science fiction, and mixed virtual reality headsets may be the technology that eventually replaces our smartphones. If this occurs, we may soon experience a future in which experiencing the world through headsets and displays is the new normal.
What are your thoughts? Do you think virtual reality headsets will eventually replace smartphones? Would you prefer to use one over your smartphone?

What are your thoughts? Do you believe Jake Tapper should be criticized for bringing this up on the news?
