If you’re a skywatcher like me, I’m sure you were in for a treat to see Venus and Mars align together with the moon. According to NASA, they appeared only a degree apart from Earth. In reality, however, the planets are quite far apart.

I was on my terrace, like always, and I opened ‘Planets’ my favourite app to use in my phone, because I can just turn my phone to the sky and learn and identify hundreds of stars. I turned my phone to this bright star alongside the moon, and got the most (inter)stellar surprise!
