Actor CP Lohani has passed away at the age of 86.  He is known for the Nepali film 'Maitighar'.  This is the first Nepali film which was produced privately.  This film proved to be a hit.  CP Lohani was suffering from Alzheimer's as well as pneumonia.  He was undergoing treatment at Annapurna Neuro Hospital, where he died.Maitighar' was a very special film in the life of CP Lohani.  People had showered a lot of love on the film.  Its success brought recognition to Lohani.  Lohani was married to Bollywood actress Mala Sinha.  An interesting thing is that Mala Sinha also worked in this film.CP Lohani was not only a well-known name in the world of film and music.  He had earned his name by working in different fields.  The interesting thing is that those fields were completely different from cinema.  Actually, Lohani had worked in the Finance Ministry and Industry Ministry.  Apart from this, he also worked as a director in Biratnagar Jute Mills and Raghupati Jute Mills.
