Absolutely brilliant.

John Turturro, who I've always found mildly irritating, was outstanding.

I avoided this for several years, frankly due to mourning the loss of the late, great James Gandolfini, who sadly died after having filmed the pilot episode of this series, of which he served as a main creative force and executive producer. I found myself often imagining him in place of John Turturro. Riz Ahmed was excellent and Michael K. Williams never disappoints.

I watched the approximate nine hour series in a day and a half. Enthralling, captivating, gripping, unpredictable from start to finish "The Night Of" is cinematic television drama at its finest. Highly recommended!
