Moon Gazer continues……

More importantly, no incident in which sleeping inmates were killed and their houses robbed recurred in the capital of India. Thus came an end to the depredations unleashed by Jodhan Singh and his gang in Delhi. Our painstaking efforts had borne the desired results, much to our satisfaction and to the maintenance of peace in the area. My moon-gazing gradually came to an end.

 With the steady passage of time, residents of Delhi have all but forgotten—and naturally so—about the serial killings coupled with robberies that once plagued the city. Given the public’s short memory, millions of Delhi’s citizens born in the 1990s and thereafter in the new millennium may not have even heard of the marauding gangs who killed people in their sleep before ransacking their homes.

 Today, we, the citizens of Delhi, sleep soundly, hardly aware of the dangers that lurked during dark nights in the early 1990s. Don’t we owe a tiny bit of gratitude to those officers and men of the Delhi Police who tracked down and arrested these dangerous criminals from far and wide and booked them nice and proper, thereby terminating their depredations?
