Chapter V
A Strategy to Deter Terrorism continues....
By terror tactics, pressure mounted on America, with its military and economic toll more than 2 trillion dollars thus far and over 7,000 civilians and military personnel killed and several tens of thousands injured, to cut and run from Iraq and Afghanistan. Hence, the US has now washed its hands off from Iraq and Afghanistan. Terrorists such as ISIS and Taliban will soon fill the vacuum by 2024. Such an outcome would be worse than British P.M. Neville Chamberlain’s capitulation in September 1939 to Hitler. Former US President, George Bush Jr has recently pointed out the most regretable decision of current US President Biden to withdrew from Afghanistan, and in effect handing over that country to Taliban.
An Islamic jihad ignored, is not a problem that will go away, because terrorism will stop at nothing less than destruction of democratic civilization. Terrorists have a clear focus: that the sheet-anchor of today’s anti-terrorist forces—United States of America—must be brought to its knees; its economic and military capability decimated by attrition.
This and other serious threats are looming large: Europe faces the probability of being “overrun demographically” by Muslims. Israel and India are under a civilizational siege from Islamic terrorists, based on their borders, and subject to continual suicide bombings of innocent civilians. Thus, USA, India and Israel are in the “Focus of Jihad.”
The bitter truth is that Islamic terrorist’s offensive today, represented by the likes of Al-Qaeda, is sustaining due to the clandestine sponsorship by a de facto “Axis of Jihad ” of three nations: Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Iran. Two of these three nations are close allies of the USA!
Since nuclear bomb-making physics and technology are easily available, even through the Internet, radical Muslim groups embedded in this “Axis” countries can (and will) acquire nuclear bombs. In the not-so-far future thus, America, Israel, and India, the primary targets of Osama Bin Laden’s rhetoric, could face nuclear devastation. It is going to require more than conventional military capability to dissuade Muslim radicals from using nukes on these three “Focus of Jihad” nations.
