"Damodar ka Intezaar" is an inspiration of the
famous play Waiting For Godot written by Samuel
Beckett in 1950s. Through this play we are
exploring what is meaning of life and a man's
search for it. The play revolves around two central
characters Vladimir and Estragon, who are waiting
for Mr. Godot, why are they waiting ?, what they
do while waiting to break away from their
monotonous routine. In an exploration of
existentialism the play depicts the human struggle
to find meaning in Life.
Are Vladimir and Estragon two different humans
or two different manifestations of a Human’s￾Body & Mind ?Are they in an Imaginary Absurd Space trying to
find meaning in their surrounding ?
Or are they two Imaginary Identities in a Perfect
World ?
This is what the Artists are trying find out through
performance of this play.
