101 Views 11 months ago

Videos and reels of celebrity appearance at airports is something we have been seeing on social media for a while now, infact paparazzi content is full of it, but Actress Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram on June 2 and took credit for being the one to start the trend back in 2018.

However, she called it a “stupid” trend and also addressed herself as the ‘victim of capitalism’. She mentioned how she is ashamed of buying new clothes always in an attempt to not repeat the older ones.

In a series of Instagram stories, Kangana showcased her various airport looks over the years where she is seen sporting clothes and accessories from international brands. The first picture has her wearing a lavender dress which she paired with a light pink overcoat. Along with the photo, Kangana wrote, “Only person to blame for starting the stupid trend of airport looks.”

She proceeded to blame the fashion magazines for brainwashing her, “Brainwashed by magazine editors and fashion industry to look a western woman so that I only fill the pockets of international designers.”

For the next story she further continued, "“Ashamed to repeat clothes always buying without any care about the impact of my choices on the environment.”

The actress said that she was hailed as a ‘fashionista’ when she was acting like a ‘bimbo.’ She wrote on Instagram, “While I act like a bimbo, the system hails me as a fashionista to encourage me to promote more international brands while my own people like weavers and handicrafts men dying slow and steady death.”
