According to a report by Munhwa Ilbo on November 20, BLACKPINK is expected to continue promoting as a group under YG Entertainment. However, there are indications that the individual members may not renew their exclusive contracts with the agency. A source from YG Entertainment responded to the report, stating, "Nothing is confirmed, and we are in discussion." This follows previous statements in September where YG Entertainment mentioned they were still in talks for contract renewal with BLACKPINK, as the group's previous contracts expired in August.
