Today on 30.01.2021 Department of Wildlife Protection J&K acting upon intelligence reports from , Wildlfe Crime Control Bureau in coordination with J&K police launched an unprecedented operation which resulted in huge seizure of wildlife contrabands and arrest of two kingpins in Manwal and Anantnag, J&K. A Total of 13 leopard skins, 7 leopard nails, 8 canines, 2 molars, 2 leopard skulls, leopard bones (04 Jaw bones, 140 bones pieces), 38 bear biles, 4 musk deer pods and 1 musk deer tusk were seized in this operation.
Out of this seizure, 5 leopard skins, 7 nails, 8 canines, 2 molars, 2 leopard skulls, leopard bones were seized from Manwal, Udhampur, Jammu and 8 leopard skins, 38 bear biles, 4 musk deer pods were seized from Anantnag , Kashmir, J&K.
