Arsenal suffered a setback in their Premier League title bid after falling to a 1-0 defeat at Everton on Saturday.
In a goalless first half, the league leaders struggled to cope with the intensity of the home side at Goodison Park and were unable to break them down. They were eventually undone by a typical Dyche goal - a corner header.
On the hour, James Tarkowski scored the game-winning goal, giving his former Burnley manager a huge three points in his first game in charge, with an assist from another former Burnley player, Dwight McNeil, who provided the assist for the manager.

Mikel Arteta's side blew an eight-point lead over second-placed Manchester City by losing only their second league game of the season.
Everton moves out of the bottom three as they attempt to avoid relegation from the Premier League for the first time in their history.
Tarkowski, who Dyche signed when he was at Burnley, said he hoped the win would help change Everton's fortunes, as the club had only won three league games before Saturday.
"It's been difficult for us, the fans, and the entire club staff." Hopefully, this is the club's turning point; there is a lot of talent here. He revealed this to reporters.
"It's taken me a while, I need to score more. What a wonderful time and day to do it. On Monday, we return to work and get back to work.
"We've lacked that little bit of grit at times, and that's what the fans want." "We've seen what's going on today."
The hosts were able to hold on for their first league victory since October.
"We know how good they [Arsenal] are as a team, but we also know how good we are as a team with all the chances we had," Everton winger McNeil added.
