Feeling so good 😂
I actually think because of those people we can differentiate what is real and what is fake .
We Millennials can't really do without portraying a perfect life on Instagram. Maybe our lives are falling apart, but our Instagram stories are always just perfect.Â
This one day I remember, a friend of mine said to me damn your life is so happening. I feel the same about my followers on Instagram, like wow they have such a perfect life.Â
There are times I also feel envious seeing someone's story, and feel I wish I was also traveling, and having fun like them.Â
On Instagram we all are playing a game called the 'perfect life', but then how can we blame each other for assumptions we create, because on Instagram it's all sunshine and rainbows.Â
It's like a facade we have created which makes the other person think it's all glitz and glory around. Those filters somehow help us attain validation about ourselves and our lives.Â
I myself feel the urge to post a selfie everyday on my Instagram story, somehow it just helps me feel better about myself. But somehow when you contemplate, you realise it's just all so shallow.Â
But maybe that is what is, we're shallow. Our generation is shallow. We run for likes, and comments. We make sure to decorate our lives in those filters and showcase it to the world.
