The first Apex Council Meeting of Assam Cricket Association took place today after the new Apex Council assumed office. Several key decisions were taken during the meeting, which was held at the premises of the ACA Stadium, Barsapara, Guwahati.

In the meeting, among other things, a cash reward of Rs. 25 lakhs was announced for the Assam team for reaching the Semi Final of the latest Vijay Hazare Trophy. Along with that, a reward amounting to Rs. 10 lakhs was also announced for the support staff for their excellent role in supporting the team.
