While this all worked for sometime its not working anymore, all those three reason are becoming worse for both the economy and the society. The Chaebols make up 85% of the Korean Economy but they only provide 10% of the jobs there. This is mainly because of the advanced technologies they have. There was a time when Korea had too many jobs but not enough qualified people but todays its the complete opposite. The universities are turning out hundreds of thousands of students every year but its getting more and more difficult to find jobs. Koreans with a university degree are facing a higher unemployment rate than people who don’t have a degree. All this incredible the competition in South Korea to such an extent that the government had to ban private tuitions after 10 pm for school going kids
