Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele's camp believes that he needs to find a new club this window due to the low number of minutes he's been given under the last 4 managers at Tottenham Hotspur.
The French midfielder managed just ten full-time appearances for Spurs after joining the North London based club for a fee of £50m.
Senior figures at the club are willing to let Ndombele leave as per the Athletic UK's Charlie Eccleshare but the sticking point lies in his current wages of £200k per week including taxes.
The Frenchman wanted to leave last summer after former manager Nuno Espírito Santo had a crunch meeting with the player in August. From then on, the Portuguese manager was reluctant to start the midfielder.
As per Eccleshare, people close to Ndombele are hopeful that he'll leave in this winter window but Spurs need to find a club outside the Premier League, who can afford his wages.
As per Fabrizio Romano, a loan deal is more likely than a permanent sale in this window. Daniel Levy isn't happy about this situation but has given up on keeping him now.
The Frenchman wants to move to a club that offers Champions League football. Spurs think that a move would benefit all parties this month.
Spurs won't be able to recoup what they spent on Ndombele. Things won't work out for the player at White Hart Lane after he was booed off yesterday after being subbed and walked off slowly from the pitch. Ndombele had issues related to attitude and fitness at the club and now he's unhappy with how things have developed.
As things stand, permanent sale looks unlikely.
