With the fall of the previous government and the escalating economic challenges facing the people, the Taliban say they will end the crisis in less than six months and grow its economy. Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban-led government, said at a rally in support of their ruling government in western Kabul on Thursday that they would launch a "jihad for prosperity" after the withdrawal of international forces.
According to him, Afghanistan has just come out of the war, and the Taliban are looking for big development projects. Zabihullah Mujahid cited TAPI, Casa One Thousand, and Aynak Aynak projects as development projects and promised that Afghanistan's economy would grow in less than six months. In part of his speech, Mujahid called the recent political changes and developments a "new chapter" and stressed that Afghanistan needs the cooperation and empathy of its people.
According to him, when the national unity in the country is secured, and the elders of the country have empathy and cooperation, all the existing challenges will be eliminated. However, a spokesman for the ruling Taliban government said the current situation was in the interests of all parties, adding that they were not seeking revenge on anyone.
According to Mujahid, Taliban forces are trying not to damage the dignity of any citizen of the country. Meanwhile, the assassinations of former government employees continue in various parts of the country. However, a spokesman for the Taliban-led government also stressed that they had made every effort to resolve political and ethnic problems through dialogue.
On the other hand, Mojahedin also mentioned girls' education above the sixth grade and assured that girls' schools would be reopened. According to Mujahid, the Taliban are trying to build a mechanism in line with Islamic principles and national interests. A spokesman for the Taliban-led government added that all girls' schools and training centers would begin once the mechanism is finalized.
