A biotin deficiency is quite rare, but when it happens, it causes brittle or thinning of nails and hair. To overcome this deficiency, you may have egg whites, egg yolks, fish, spinach, cauliflower, bananas, whole grains etc.

3 Mouth ulcers - Lack of vitamin B and iron can lead to mouth ulcers.
