Actor Richa Chadha was all adventurous yesterday she tweeted “Galwan Says Hi” in response to a statement from the Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command of the Indian Army that they are prepared to take back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir if the government issues such an order.
With her obnoxious comment, the actress has landed herself in trouble. Her tweet went viral on social media and the Netizens have slammed her for mocking the Indian Army and belittling the struggles and sacrifice of the soldiers who have died fighting in the valley.
Well, it was stupid of her to comment on such a sensitive issue, and such comments invite trouble, that's not something uncalled for.
So many Indian soldiers died back in June 2020 in the clash with Chinese soldiers in the Galwan Valley.
A complaint has also been filed against the actress with the Delhi Police.
Though now Richa has taken down her Twitter and apologised later,“Even though it can never be my intention in the least, if the three words which are being dragged into a controversy have offended or hurt anyone, I apologise and also say that it would sadden me if even unintentionally my words have triggered this feeling in my brothers in the fauj (army) of which my own Nanaji has been an illustrious part. As a Lt Col, he took a bullet in the leg in the Indo-China war in the 1960s. My Mamaji was a paratrooper. It’s in my blood.”
“My Mamaji was a paratrooper. It's in my blood. A whole family is affected when a son is martyred or even injured while saving the nation which is made up of people like us and I personally know how it feels. It is an emotive issue for me." Richa said in her apology tweet.
She making an apology statement on Twitter, and giving examples from her family doesn’t really make sense, though might be appreciated by some Netizens.
The comments she made were Naive if she calls herself from Army Family and she has cut her own throat with her comments.
