Every year I get about 8 to 10 clients who are in the age group of 85 to 90. They either want to get married or improve their sexual performance.
While helping them, I also take lessons from them, trying to understand what is it that makes them want sex even at that age.
Their sexual performance and desire is very much a part of their overall health and longevity. If you are healthy, then sex has no expiry date.
What I found common to all these people was that they were all great walkers. They were also frugal eaters, especially their dinner, and practiced pranayama (a yogic practice focusing on breath). Some were also eating a lot of urad dal (black gram), which contains a good amount of testosterone. I have myself found urad dal useful.
Several years ago, while working at the KEM hospital, Mumbai, I had an 85 year-old man from Lucknow, who came to me for erection troubles. It was his fourth marriage. He said he was climaxing early. His bride was an 18-year-old, who willingly married him, as “he was a big man in our village.” I managed to solve his sexual difficulty in a week’s time.
Then a few months later, he came back to see me again, this time with a big box of sweets. He said he wanted to distribute it to all the patients at the hospital. I was quite surprised that he came all the way from Lucknow, just to distribute sweets.
So he corrected me. “Doctor, I came because, I want the blessings of all the people sitting here, so that I can go on for another 10 years without any sexual difficulty.”
