Finally, good sense prevailed on Congress leadership and Prashant Kishor's effort to get a platform to fulfill his own political ambitions has failed, again!

Kishor at best is a backroom boy. No one will give votes in his name. But he has political ambitions beyond his own capabilities as a mass leader. So a desperate Congress was right platform for Kishor but finally Congress decided to put Kishor in his place and offered him a position which, party insiders claim, was in accordance with his stature of backroom guy. But obviously, Kishor did not think it was good enough for him and deal fell through.

But we have not heard the last word on Kishor's love affair with Congress!

Unless Gandhi family decides to democratise the party and bring about a mechanism to hear party workers, Kishor and his ilk will keep trying.
