Dwight Howard is on a mission. The eight-time NBA all-star wants to spread love and positivity through Pixstory.

In an interview with heavy.com, Howard spoke about the gap that Pixstory fills in the current social media universe: “There’s so much hate in this world, we just want to send out some positivity, give people some love and try to get some love back into our lives.”

Speaking about his philosophy, the Pixstory ambassador said: “We spend a lot of our time focussing our energies on talking down or pulling another person down, and I think that we should try and change that to lifting each other up. Hate only begets more hate and I think we gotta push more love, start giving people flowers, let them know how much we appreciate and celebrate them, celebrate every day that we have on this earth.”

Describing Pixstory as a social media app with no place for toxicity, he said: “Everybody is just looking for negativity and things to say, ‘Man, look at this.’ We want people to look at somebody and smile and say, ‘Hey man, I love him, I love her, I wanna give that person a hug.’ We want to spread some love. That’s all.”
