What a third rate movie of very poor imitations
Truely it's just a normal Bollywood film
I remember Shah Rukh Khan saying in The Romantics how he wished to be an action hero. He managed to pick a small action scene in DDLJ requesting Aditya Chopra. So, the seriously patriotic RAW officer Pathaan naturally gets stylish stunts in a spy thriller and the bonus is, it’s the handsome muscleman John Abraham (Outfit X) is his opponent.
YRF has brought helicopters motorcycles, trains, planes, trucks, cars, and even ice skaters on which a petite Deepika Padukone is effortlessly flowing to fetch the virus ball. I savoured the tall, sexy svelte Deepika in every scene she appears. Not sure in which direction. Perhaps in one or all..😉she is undeniably a bond-bourne heroine in Pathaan. I liked the local adaptation. Deepika was hotttt in every frame. Melted in her irresistible moves and global wardrobe. Sensible makeup stands out. She could mange all action sequences.
Another elegant screen presence was the RAW head, Nandini – Dimple Kapadia is a wonder-woman in this age. How does she carry herself so well? I think her personality does half in any role.
King Khan, definitely a comeback. It’s like back to roots. Something he is always good at. He was a charmer. Pastel shades cloth line, sexy beard, and capricious silky hair complimenting an amazing body look half his age. He was too graceful with those emo lines. Decent acting as well. I noted the same trait in JohnA, a well-poised villain with a cliché backstory.
Pathann was out and out cinematic. No logical pauses or reasonable shifts. Just go with the flow. Look at the cameo, Tiger. Salman looks aged and shy. Listened to the self-assuring conversation of both Khans? Funny…plus an indicator of the big shows still awaits them.
