and didn’t care much about the unrest in far provinces. I didn’t hear the whispers of war.
We weren’t allowed to go alone anywhere unless my brother or father was there with us. I know you would think oh this is a male guardian thing which is practiced till date in Afghanistan, so sad.. blah blah. But No! it wasn’t about male guardian or Mehram thing, it was only because of security issues and since we didn’t know about the directions and situation around it wasn’t safe to go alone. And yeah google maps doesn’t work well in Afghanistan, I think I will go ahead and say it more clearly …ahmm google maps doesn’t work in Afghanistan at all 🙃

It isn’t that I am a person who doesn’t understand politics; I am a person with a master’s in international relation and politics but didn’t hear the whispers of war. I was overwhelmed with the love for Afghanistan and couldn’t hear the whispers of war.
Afghanistan didn’t fall to the Taliban. Afghanistan didn’t surrender to the Taliban. It was all pre-planned by the US, corrupt Afghanistan government officials and the Taliban. The peace deal which talked about bring peace was actually about bringing the Taliban!
