NewJeans is a five-member girl group consisting of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein. They debuted under HYBE’s subsidiary, ADOR, just six months ago, and yet have already proven that they are in it for the long run.

Just one week after their debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 with “Ditto,” they have successfully entered the chart with another song!

On January 24, Billboard announced that NewJeans’ latest title track, "OMG," had debuted at No. 91 on the Hot 100. This is the group's highest chart position to date—and their second chart entry after "Ditto," which debuted at No. 96 last week.

After becoming the fastest K-pop group in history to enter the Hot 100, they have now also become the fastest K-pop artists to land multiple entries on the chart. For reference, BTS and BLACKPINK are the only other K-pop groups to have charted multiple times in history.

With their unusual and refreshing musical sound, the group continues to impress people with their skills and abilities.

They depart from the usual pop sounds and bring something completely new to the table. And just because of that, they have fans globally who are constantly rooting for their success (including yours truly, obviously)!
