A copy of the Taliban-led government's new payroll has been made available to government employees. In this procedure, the salaries of the Prime Minister, his deputies, ministers, the head of the intelligence department, the head of the affairs department and the heads of other departments are specified. Also, in the new office, the salaries of the employees of the different packages of the ministries have been clarified, and the salaries of the employees, the salaries of the points and the share of the departments of these points have also been specified.
In addition, the salaries of employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Supreme Court, the Attorney General's Office, the Central Bank, New Kabul Bank, Pashtani Bank, the Afghan Red Crescent, Kabul Municipality, university professors and academics of the Academy of Sciences have been determined. According to the documents, the Taliban-led government may receive the highest salaries in the governing bodies of the central bank, New Kabul Bank and Pashtani Bank.
After that, the directors of Breshna, National Development, Afghan Telecom and Ariana will receive the highest salaries. The salary of the head of the Taliban-led government is 198,250 Afghanis. It is worth mentioning that the minimum basic salary of the employees in the government of the Taliban is 5,000 Afghanis and the minimum salary is 3,000 Afghanis. Although the Taliban have previously criticized the implementation of concessions and salaries, in this way, they have only reduced it.
In a letter to the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday, the 9th of Qaws, the General Office of the Prime Minister sent the new salary plan of the Taliban-led government to that ministry. The letter states that the new payroll for government employees has been finalized by the commission in 25 sheets. It has also been clarified that this policy has been approved by Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhand, the head of the Taliban-led government, and has been sent to the Ministry of Finance for implementation.
