Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has continued to push for the club to re-sign Atletico Madrid forward Alvaro Morata, despite difficulties in negotiating with the La Liga side.
According to what has been reported by today’s edition of Italian newspaper the Corriere dello Sport, Morata remains Allegri’s number-one target in his race to source a vice-Vlahovic who can play alongside, or instead of, the Serbian forward to ease his workload.
As Morata already knows the club, having played for the Bianconeri early in his career before returning for a 2-year loan for the past two seasons, he is the ideal candidate to bring in and would take no time to adjust or to get to know his teammates.
