Former Spurs captain Ledley King presented Kane and Dier with gifts from the club, with the duo being seen at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first time since leaving for Bayern Munich last season. Cristian Romero and Rodrigo Bentancur were also seen giving their former teammates a hug during the presentation.
Tottenham face Bayern for the second successive game, having played against the German side in the final game of their pre-season tour of Japan and Asia last week. It is the final game of both side's pre-season ahead of the new campaign. However, both Kane and Dier did not start the game in North London, instead being used as substitutes for the friendly.
Kane's impact on Tottenham cannot be overstated, with the England star's becoming the club's all-time leading goalscorer (280) before generating a record sale when he joined Bayern for €95 million (£81.5m/$103.8m) last summer.
Dier will also form part of Tottenham's history, with only five players featuring in more Premier League games than the defender during his ten-year stint at the club.
