In the 1998/99 Champions League season, Juventus travelled to Turkey to take on Galatasaray. The Bianconeri had to take something out of the game to qualify for the next round of the competition.

It was Nicola Amoruso who gave Juve a lead in the 78th minute. He hit a volley from a tight angle to beat the goalkeeper at the near post in what was a very good finish. 

While Juve did concede late on, Amoruso’s goal proved vital in helping Juve go through to the next stage.
