So we all love food, right?
Ofcourse, that's not even a question we surely love food, even if one doesn't love food he has to eat in order to survive because food provides us carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals.
Yes we all love food specially junk food like burgers, pizza, pasta etc. All these are very rich in fats and unhealthy but still we eat it. I am not saying that one should not eat junk food but it should be occassional and not very frequently. It can create some serious problems for you. Everything has a certain limit and so does food. One should understand that he/she should eat healthy food only and the food they like, the junk food has to be sacrificed and can be eaten occassionally.
Lockdown had a huge impact on the food industry but it resulted in a good thing that what we were eating outside earlier at the malls, food parlours or street food, in the lockdown we tried to cook them ourselves. It had some advantages for us like we were still getting that food in a safer environment and also home cooked food is much more hygienic than the outside food. I got tired of seeing hundreds of stories on people's social media accounts that they tried this recipe today, then next day again some new recipe. So this all happened during the lockdown.
Remember the dalgona coffee trend?
Right, it was also during the lockdown, when people had nothing to do so they tried new recipes and in India, Dalgona coffee became a trend.
Today, the majority of the food energy required by the ever-increasing population of the world is supplied by the industrial food industry, which produces food with intensive agriculture and distributes it through complex food processing and food distribution systems. This system of conventional agriculture relies heavily on fossil fuels, which means that the food and agricultural system is one of the major contributors to climate change, accountable for as much as 37% of total greenhouse gas emissions. Addressing the carbon intensity of the food system and food waste are important mitigation measures in the global response to climate change.
