Best place In New Delhi. Everything is amazing.
Moti Cinema Hall was among Movie halls in Chandni Chowk and Fountain area very popular in Delhi university in 1970s. Ritz in Kashmiri Gate too
Moti Cinema in Chandni chowk was a place of entertainment where people enjoyed watching classic movies, opened to delhi in '1938' it was established before independence.
After Regal and Plaza cinema at Connaught Place, Moti was the third oldest single-screen cinema hall in the national Capital.
This cinema hall exhibited quality Hindi movies of the time from Shantaram through Mehboob, Raj Kapoor, and Bimal Roy. Moti also screened morning English movies right up until the mid-1970s.
Moti was known for screening only Bhojpuri films, as due to the inability to compete with growing big multiplexes, they focused on a niche audience & it worked for them throughout decades. But it was shut down in 2013 as the profits kept on falling & there was no way left for the owners to keep 'Moti Cinema' alive.
If you visit Moti cinema, you will get to see only a giant skeleton left, which will remind you of Delhi's glorious & dying past.
