Covid 19 pandemic has not only affected economics of the country but also livelihoods of people around it. Both have come to dwarf point of nadir. The best cure was sustaining mental health but it was too affected as people were in isolation for not one or two but whole months and weeks.
Long gone are those days when people used to be on islands, isolated from each other. Now, they have adapted themselves to live together as they have understood that they are interdependent on each other sustainance.
But this, not only affected heath of people physically but also mentally. People experienced depression and anxiety and no one was there to treat them. The sudden demise of a young cogent Bollywood star was a huge setback. As all doctors were saving population from physical damage but none was there to treat mental one.
According to 2019 World Data, 30% doctors of India are themselves depressed. Only 2.7% of medical staff is there to treat mental health problems.
But, people can themselves treat mental illnesses. Faith in god is of utmost importance. Also, practising Yoga and doing exercises act as a mental booster. They enhance our mental health. Daily meditation of 2-3 minutes can boost our nerves and our mind fit. To engage positive energy into the mind, people can also spend time with their family together rather living alone. Also, there can be much indulgence to hobbies like reading etc. which gives oneself a jist to enjoyment.
These steps together can avoid the need to get a doctor. As the saying is, "Have faith in God, and your life will blossom".
