Even in Kerala, analysing last 10yrs would give an evidence, considering floods that happened twice and landslides.
I was born bought up in Kashmir, if I talk climate change I would not need to refer to any report any scientific study to know that .
Can u imagine people have started installing ACs in homes in Kashmir-A place where people still say too much use of fans leaves their bodies fatigued and ill. Where mothers insist on having a warm cup of water after an ice cream.
Yes kashmir has witnessed one of the worst summers, doesn’t matter if it lasts for only a few days but summers have never been more harsh.
Winters are sometimes unusually warm or cold and snowy. Some years it snows so much that everyday life comes to a halt , some years there is just no snowfall in normal winter months and snowfalls starts late March or even April.There is untimely -late or early cherry and almond bloom. Glacier are reducing in size and rivers and streams are becoming dry.
I always fight with Husband that my south facing room is too hot in summers and cold in winters.

After major snow fall in 2021 , Lieutenant-Governor Manoj Sinha January 10, declared heavy snowfall a state-specific natural calamity under the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) norms. This is was second time in two years . Earlier in 2005 around 300 people died in Waltengu Naar in south Kashmir.
This while the State Action Plan on Climate Change (SAPCC) revealed there was a steady decline in snowfall over the years Kashmir , according to the SAPCC in 2016 had witnessed a rise in temperature of 1.45°C over the preceding last two decades. ... Kashmir's temperature between 1879 and 1979 had registered an increase of only 0.7°C.12-Jan-2021.
Glaciers in the region have also shrunk at a significant rate, according to a recent study published in the journal Scientific Reports. As many as 12,243 glaciers were studied for thickness and mass change- most showed changes
