Call Of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has been out in the market only a short while, and already in a massive accomplishment for the battle royale, the game has garnered 25 million players in less than a week.
One of the contributing factors to this very strong start is Activision temporarily deactivating the original Warzone for 12 days, two hours before the launch of the sequel. Warzone is set to be re-launched on November 28th as 'Warzone Caldera', and will continue as its own separate entity from Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0.
Though it has not slowed down the momentum of Warzone’s success, the game has experienced several frustrating glitches, such as repeatedly asking players to buy Modern Warfare 2 even if they have already bought it.
Another includes rendering several models invisible, leaving the unsuspecting out in the open and shot by opponents hidden with no clear source of fire. Similarly, another bug prevents players from partying up with their friends, though there is thankfully a workaround.
Call Of Duty is galloping with massive strides right now as Modern Warfare 2 continues to be one of the most successful entries into the franchise ever. This happens as the game has accumulated over $1 billion revenue in just 10 days selling faster than any other game in series history. Much like the original, Warzone 2.0 is free to play on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5.
