On one hand it is understandable why fans of any football club would be frustrated despite playing so well & having loads of shots but still repeatedly falling short of 3 points at the end on multiple occasions. But Brighton fans booing their Manager, Graham Potter after a 0-0 draw to Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United felt a bit unfair on their end.

The club are currently sitting in their best league position (7th) at this stage stage of the season, since their promotion back to the Premier League and have got a points tally better than both their previous seasons. Not only that, but their brand of football certainly hasn't looked more promising in previous years & there is a certain sense of sustainability within the squad & the way Potter is making this side play.

Some aspects of the Seagulls' buildup do comprise of a valid concern but from a long term project perspective, the bumps in the road were bound to be there at some point & unfortunately this year they came at a time when Brighton made an incredible start to their season.

Although they are overperforming their Expected Points Metric by a mere 0.35, this season does have the potential to be one of Brighton's best in the Premier League (with a promising shot at one of the European Places) & Potter deserves credit & backing for the job he's doing at the club.
