Gabriel Jesus scored his first Arsenal goals since his return from injury as the North London club restored their eight point lead on top after Manchester City's win against Liverpool on Saturday.
Leeds United had started the game in fine form with Rasmus Kristensen, Crysencio Summerville, and Jack Harrison all testing Aaron Ramsdale within 30 days. A soft penalty awarded to Arsenal was converted by Gabriel Jesus and the Gunners dominated the game from that point.
Arsenal scored three more times in the second half with goals from White, Xhaka, and a second one from Jesus. Kristensen's 76th minute strike for the Yorkshire club proved to be little more than a consolation. Javi Gracia's club now sit just a point above the drop zone with ten games left to play.
